Swan River Rowing Club - Row for Someone - Breast Cancer Awareness Month

This October, Swan River Rowing Club will be coming together for Row for Someone, a fundraiser supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month through our new Pink Swan Wall in the clubhouse.

As October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we wanted to create a simple way for our Swans community to come together, raise funds and show our support.

The idea is simple: throughout October, members, families, coaches, volunteers and supporters can make a voluntary donation towards breast cancer research and support services.

In return, you’ll receive a pink paper swan to add to our clubhouse Pink Wall.

You can write:

a name
a message of support
a dedication
or simply your name/signature

As more people participate, the wall will gradually fill with pink swans, creating a visible reminder of the support within our Swans community.

When is it happening?

Row for Someone will begin on October 8th and run throughout the remainder of October.

There is no additional event or commitment required, you can participate whenever you are at the clubhouse.

Who can participate?

Everyone in our Swans community is welcome:

Athletes • Parents • Families • Coaches • Volunteers • Supporters

Whether you have a personal connection to breast cancer or simply want to show your support, we’d love for you to be part of Row for Someone.

You can also share the online donation link with friends and family who are not members of the club. All money raised will go towards breast cancer research and support services.

A single swan might seem small, but together they can create something really meaningful.
