About
Fremantle Surf Life Saving Club and Breast Cancer Research Centre-WA are coming together for a powerful community event in support of a cause that touches so many, breast cancer awareness and research.
We paddle with purpose this November to raise funds for clinical research, empowering survivors and celebrating the resilience of many facing this disease.
Location: Leighton Beach
Date: Saturday 22nd November
Our project is not just about attempting to set a record; it's about creating a legacy of hope and remembrance for those affected by breast cancer. By paddling out together in solidarity, we aim to honor the strength and resilience of patients and their families while raising crucial funds for Breast Cancer Research Centre WA.
We all know someone affected by breast cancer. Whether it’s a mother, sister, friend, or colleague. With 1 in 7 women diagnosed and numbers rising, early detection through screening has never been more important. Fremantle Surf Life Saving Club and Breast Cancer Research Centre-WA are uniting for a powerful community event to raise awareness, honour those impacted, and inspire action. Through our collective efforts, we aim to shine a light on the importance of screening, encourage open conversations, and support vital research and services that change lives.
